Sustainment Solutions business area is responsible for, among other things, the sales, offering, and delivery of lifecycle support and software products. The business area also manages strategic partnerships with the Finnish Defence Forces and Patria’s authority business.
We are now searching for a
to lead the Lifecycle Management (LCM) entity within the multinational Common Armoured Vehicle Systems (CAVS) programme. The role is critical in safeguarding long-term value for our customers and ensuring that all agreed commitments are fulfilled throughout the system lifecycle.
The position focuses on the execution, management, and reporting of the LCM project, encompassing both internal coordination and the customer interface. In addition, the role includes supporting Lifecycle Support (LCS) contracts and contributing to the long-term sustainment and performance of the CAVS solution.
You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and overall control of the Lifecycle Management project within the CAVS programme, ensuring that contractual obligations are met. The role requires effective coordination of internal teams and international stakeholders, including CAVS member nations, the joint CAVS Programme Office in Finland, and Patria’s project management, lifecycle, and business development organisations. You will continuously monitor project progress, adapt plans as needed, proactively identify and manage risks, and ensure proper management of project documentation and lifecycle-related reporting.
You are proactive, customer-oriented, and communicative, and you feel comfortable navigating complex organisations and stakeholder networks in a multinational environment. You communicate project status clearly and professionally and are able to build trust and cooperation across organisational and cultural boundaries while driving the successful delivery of the LCM contract within the CAVS programme.
A relevant higher education degree
Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Understanding of lifecycle management or lifecycle support business
Readiness to work in a multinational defence environment
Fluent English; German or Swedish is an advantage
