Protected Mobility is responsible for the sales, supply and delivery of new vehicles and vehicle systems. We are well positioned to offer our vehicle fleet to various end users through European programs, such as the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) program.

We are now searching for a

Quality Specialist

to join our team in Valmiera.

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the development and maintenance of documentation of the company's quality management system;

  • Supporting the quality manager in maintaining the company's quality processes;

  • Carrying out risk analysis, monitoring and improvement of production processes and non-compliances;

  • Communication with suppliers and representatives of the parent company in case of problem situations;

  • Quality control in production processes and for the finished product;

  • Participation in internal and external audits;

  • Going on work-related trips both in Latvia and abroad.

Requirements for a quality specialist:

  • Higher or specialized education in engineering, quality management or a similar field;

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing company;

  • Good MS Office user skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint;

  • Good skills in the preparation of reports, summaries and statistics;

  • Excellent knowledge of Latvian, good knowledge of English;

  • Good communication abilities, skills to plan and organize their daily work life.

The following will be considered as an advantage:

  • Previous experience in working with certifications (ISO, etc.);

  • Experience with the preparation of quality documentation (protocols, procedures, instructions);

  • Certificates and training in quality management or the environment (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.);

  • Ability to read technical drawings.
