Now we are seeking a new

IAM Manager

to join our team in Tampere.

The IAM Manager is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operations of Identity & Access Management in Patria.

This role safeguards access to systems and data, ensuring compliance with stringent defence-sector security and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate combines technical IAM expertise with development focus and leadership skills and a security-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish IAM governance frameworks, policies, roadmap and procedures

• Ensure compliance with defence-industry regulations (e.g. KATAKRI, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001).

• Partner with IT, Information Security and Legal to align IAM with enterprise architecture. Steering from the IAM Governance group.

• Manage the operation of daily IAM processes, including user life-cycle processes (provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, privileged access requests).

• Drive automation of IAM processes to improve efficiency and security.

• Drive Privileged Access Management (PAM) development (modules and tools)

• Create close co-operation with IT technical teams in Identity area, AD, Entra ID, SOC etc.

• Responsible for Identity planning in all application projects.

• Oversee IAM vendor relationships and evaluate new identity and access technologies.

• Work cross-functionally to guide and train system main users for access requirements.

• Oversee all IAM controls support internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience.

• Proven experience from IAM area.

• Expertise with IAM/IGA/PAM tools (e.g. SailPoint, Octa, Saviynt, CyberArk).

• Proficiency in directory services, SSO, MFA and identity federation technologies.

• Experience in B2B or B2C digital offering access management.

• Experience in regulated, high-security environments.

• Experience in defence, aerospace, finance, pharma, governmental, or other regulated sectors.
