The Utti Guard Jaeger Regiment prepared a show for the public on May 9th. Also Patria’s aviation unit and the KSAO centre had open house on that day. The hangar visitors were of all ages. Some were interested in aviation professionally, but most were there simply for the fun. Pilot Training represented Patria in the show.
The visitors were shown various aviation technologies as well as transport and rescue equipment. Thousands of people queued to see the NH90 through the day. The NH90 was used also to transport skydivers and to assist the air show. The air show of the Finnish Air Force’s Midnight Hawks group and the FA-18 C/D Hornet jets was one highlight of the day. A military band named the Show Band and army foods and treats were also popular among the visitors.
