The EU funded FAMOUS (European Future Highly Mobile Augmented Armoured Systems) programme has a unique and innovative approach to develop the next generation armoured vehicles and situational awareness system that enhance ground combat capabilities. The FAMOUS consortium led by Patria has started the research and development work of the next generation armoured vehicles and taken the first steps. The FAMOUS project thematises can be seen in the new video – link to the video.

The animation video shows these future technologies utilization to enhance ground combat capabilities in the areas of arctic and mountain tactical and operational mobility, urban operations, power generation and energy storage as well as cybersecure C4I solutions, situational awareness, robotic and autonomous systems, weapon systems and modern lifecycle support solutions.
