A New Security Reality – Cooperation and Understanding in a Complex World
This year, the overarching theme of the security conference is the new security reality and how trust in a secure future is built in Finland. The conference will examine what this new security reality looks like as the world order seeks a new shape amid great power competition and changes in technology, energy and security policy.
The conference will feature addresses by Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen, Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Janne Jaakkola and General Sir Richard Shirreff, former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO, and Panu Routila, CEO of Patria.
The event will include discussions on current security policy issues with leading experts in the field, as well as representatives of industry and societal decision-makers.
