Patria’s Jussi Järvinen to join Berlin Security Conference 2026 panel

Patria will attend the Berlin Security Conference on 3–4 November 2026. On 3 November, Jussi Järvinen, Executive Vice President, Protected Mobility, will join Panel A1, “Land Forces”, chaired by Nana Brink of Women in International Security Germany.

At the conference exhibition, Patria will present its 6x6 vehicle capabilities with German CAVS partners KNDS, FFG and JWT. The vehicle is the platform for the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme, launched in 2020 and comprising Finland, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany and the United Kingdom. Deliveries are ongoing, with vehicles already in operational use. Patria leads system development, involving participating nations’ industries in production and through-life support.

The 2026 Berlin Security Conference partner nation Lithuania announced in May its intention, through its State Defence Council, to procure 936 Patria 6x6 vehicles. Patria supports Lithuania’s potential CAVS participation through offering technology transfer and local industrial cooperation.

Conference exhibition highlights

Patria 6x6 combines high mobility and modern protection with a simple, robust and affordable design for protected troop transport in large fleets. Its modular platform supports configurations ranging from armoured personnel carriers and company command vehicles to medical evacuation and heavy APC variants, as well as vehicles equipped with the 120 mm Patria NEMO turreted mortar system.

Patria NEMO is a lightweight, remote-controlled 120 mm turreted mortar system combining mobility, protection and accuracy. It provides direct and indirect fire, including on the move, and can be integrated into wheeled or tracked platforms or supplied as a container-based solution. Its Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI) capability increases firepower, while its sensor system enables independent target acquisition and engagement or sharing of target information with other firing units.
