Patria and STV GROUP highlight a localised AMV XP 8x8 solution for the Czech Republic at Future Forces Forum

Patria participates in the Future Forces Exhibition & Forum at PVA EXPO PRAGUE, Czech Republic, on 21–23 October 2026. At the STV GROUP stand, Patria will present the Patria AMV XP 8x8 as the basis for a modular armoured vehicle family tailored to Czech operational and industrial requirements. Visitors will also be able to explore its advanced training capabilities through the Patria AMV Full Mission Simulator and learn how the Patria NEMO turreted 120 mm mortar system can add protected, mobile and highly responsive fire support to the same vehicle family.

Patria and STV GROUP are developing their cooperation around a Czech-focused AMV XP 8x8 solution. The proposed Patria AMV XP 8x8 CZ combines a proven and future-ready platform with a localisation model designed to strengthen Czech industrial capability, security of supply and national readiness. The cooperation is intended to enable meaningful participation by Czech companies in system integration, production, maintenance and lifecycle support, supported by technology and know-how transfer in line with the customer’s requirements.

On Friday, 23 October, Patria will hold an industry event together with the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP) adjacent to the Future Forces Forum. The event will support dialogue and cooperation between Patria and Czech companies to contribute to a sustainable national supply, integration and support network for the AMV XP 8x8 vehicle family.

Protected mobility

Patria AMV XP 8x8 is a state-of-the-art, modular and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing superior firepower, protection and mobility. The combat-proven AMV family has gained experience in operations worldwide and has become a trusted solution for protecting nations and their soldiers. The AMV XP platform supports a wide range of roles and weapon systems and provides a future-proof foundation for integrating customer-selected weapon, communication and mission systems while enabling local industrial participation throughout the fleet’s lifecycle. Patria’s technology transfer and localisation model is designed to strengthen Czech know-how, security of supply and long-term readiness.

Patria AMV Full Mission Simulator provides armoured vehicle crews with realistic, high-fidelity training in a controlled, repeatable and cost-efficient environment. It replicates the functions of the Patria AMV XP 8x8 infantry fighting vehicle and supports both individual and team-based training. As part of the proposed Czech solution, simulation can help accelerate capability build-up, support local training expertise and reduce the use of operational vehicles and other training resources.

Defence and weapon systems

Patria NEMO is a turreted, lightweight and remote-controlled 120 mm mortar system offering a high level of mobility, protection and accuracy. It is capable of both direct and indirect fire, including fire on the move. Integrated on the AMV XP platform, NEMO provides a common vehicle-family approach to protected mobility and mobile fire support, with benefits in training, logistics and lifecycle support. Its modular design also provides flexibility and growth potential as operational requirements evolve. Patria NEMO delivers rapid and effective fire support with high crew protection and can be integrated on a range of wheeled, tracked and naval platforms.

Sustainment Solutions

Patria OPTIME covers a broad range of services and solutions impacting fleet availability, including fleet maintenance, modification projects and integrations, supply-chain management and training. For a localised Czech AMV XP fleet, the modular OPTIME concept can be established in phases with the customer and Czech industry, creating an in-country support capability while drawing on Patria’s engineering expertise and efficient data utilisation together with the customer.
