Patria and the Finnish Biathlon Federation are extending their partnership with a new two-year cooperation agreement, which covers not only the Olympic season of 2025–2026 but also the 2026–2027 season. With this agreement, Patria will continue to support both the men’s and women’s national biathlon teams as one of the main partners.

Patria has supported the Finnish national biathlon team since 2011. The collaboration, which has lasted for over a decade, reflects the parties’ commitment to long-term development, success, and reliable partnership. Patria’s values – “We want to succeed”, “Our operations are customer-oriented”, and “Together we create success” – are also strongly present in the world of biathlon, where top expertise, relentless training, and collaboration are the keys to success.

The new cooperation agreement includes visibility in all national team activities. Patria will be visible on the Finnish national team’s headgear, outfits, and rifles during the training and competition seasons 2025–2026 and 2026–2027.

“It has been a great pleasure and honour for Patria to support the Finnish national biathlon team. Biathlon is an endurance sport where results are achieved through long-term commitment and hard work. At Patria, we always look at things from a long-term perspective, both in this matter and in our own work,” says Sirje Ahvenlampi-Hyvönen, Vice President, Group Communications at Patria.

The international biathlon competition season begins with the World Cup in November in Östersund, Sweden, and the IBU Cup starts in December in Obertilliach, Austria. The main event of the coming season is the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics in February in Italy.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our cooperation with Patria. This partnership strengthens all our activities, from young athletes to the national A team. Our aim is that the positive development within elite sport will also continue towards the Olympic winter,” says Tapio Pukki, Executive Director of the Finnish Biathlon Federation.

Patria wishes the biathlon teams success in the upcoming season and encourages everyone to follow the competitions and the Biathlon Federation’s channels. More information can be found on the association’s website: www.biathlon.fi/.
