Senop night vision system for 6x6

Senop Oy has signed a framework agreement with Patria to supply driver’s night vision systems, which will be installed on 6x6 CAVS (Common Armoured Vehicle System) armoured personnel carriers (APC). The agreement includes a purchase order which secures the continuation of already ongoing deliveries of Senop driver’s Night Vision Systems to all Latvian APCs and Finnish pre-series vehicles. In addition to this, it also enables deliveries to other potential countries participating in the programme.

Senop driver’s Night Vision Systems provides optimum vision and improved situational awareness for the demanding and rapidly variable conditions encountered by drivers 24/7. With simple integration into vehicles and compact, rugged structure, Senop driver’s Night Vision System is designed for harsh battlefield environments.

“The framework agreement and related purchase order are significant for our vehicle vision systems product segment”, says Aki Korhonen, Managing Director of Senop. “This shows our capability in the military vehicle sighting system business and secures long term production of drivers’ night vision.”

Senop builds new capabilities by tailoring solutions according to clients’ specific needs and requirements. Senop’s Defence & Security portfolio consists of high-performance image intensifiers, night sights, intelligent thermal sights, handheld target acquisition and observation systems, vehicle camera systems, hyperspectral cameras, and multipurpose container-based platform solutions.
