The defence, security and aviation group Patria won the Service Management in Action 2019 award from IT Service Management Forum Finland.

Patria was recognised with this award for its new partnership model, which challenges the traditional customer-service provider setup. The award-winning new model was created by harnessing innovative service management practices to increase flexibility in cooperation and transparency between the customer and service provider. New approaches to customer cooperation have already yielded excellent results: tickets are resolved faster, the amount of work in progress has decreased and both internal and external stakeholders are more satisfied than ever with the quality of service.

IT Service Management Forum, itSMF, is an international organisation for the promotion of quality standards and best practices in service management.

The award was accepted by Taina Mahlio-Ahonen, who is responsible for Patria’s user support and on-site support as well as access management in cooperation with ICT Elmo.
