Corporate criminal liability requested for Patria subsidiary in connection with a howitzer project to Egypt 1998 - 2004

The public prosecutor has decided to request corporate criminal liability for Patria’s subsidiary, Patria Land & Armament Oy in the context of charges brought against the subsidiary’s former manager and three other officials for aggravated bribery. The request relates to a howitzer project in Egypt of the former Patria subsidiary Patria Vammas Oy in 1998 – 2004. The company regards the request as being unfounded.

Patria has cooperated with the National Bureau of Investigation during the preliminary investigation in order to clarify the matter. Patria’s management takes this matter very seriously and does not accept any wrongdoing in any form in its business activities.
