The third annual Helsinki Security Forum (HSF) discusses how comprehensive national security strategies and preparedness could be useful on a European level and could the Finnish model of total defence serve as a blueprint for a broader European security architecture.

Patria’s CEO Esa Rautalinko will participate the panel discussion IV on Saturday 28 September at 11:00-11:45: The role of defence industry in securing Europe. The other participants include Michael Williamson, President of Lockheed Martin International and Senior Vice President for Global Business Development & Strategy of Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Tytti Tuppurainen, Member of Parliament, Social Democratic Parliamentary Group. The moderator of the session is Ben Hodges, was Commanding General of U.S Army in Europe (Lieutenant General) before retiring.

Helsinki Security Forum is organised by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA). Updates to the programme of this year’s event will be published on HSF 2024 website as well as HSF’s and FIIA’s social media channels.
