The Swedish Defence Procurement Agency (FMV) signed a contract to buy 321 six-wheeled armoured vehicles from the international defence and technology company Patria. The contract has a value of around 470 million euros and is one of the largest ever in Sweden for Patria.
The vehicles in Sweden are called Pansarterrängbil 300, will be stationed at Livgardet regiment in Kungsängen and several other units around the country. Patria has previously delivered 20 6x6 vehicles which were ordered in a separate contract signed in April 2023.

The Finnish Navy’s Hamina-Class modernisation and Mid-Life Upgrade project Patria has been acting as the prime contractor, designer, and the lead system integrator.
The modernisation and mid-life upgrade provided new capabilities for the Finnish Navy to counter maritime threats, repelling attacks at sea, protecting sea lines of communication, and monitoring and securing territorial integrity. With the new torpedo and surface-to-surface missile system, as well as upgrades to the surface-to-air missile system, the vessels are capable of impact to the air, surface and underwater. As part of the new capabilities, Patria supplied the new UUV (Un-manned Underwater Vehicle) based innovative training target system, which enables anti-submarine warfare training in a flexible and the most cost-effective way.

Patria 6x6 vehicle is modular and high-performance, but at the same time simple, robust and affordable to provide this tactical capability in larger fleet quantities. It provides modern protection and extreme mobility. Patria 6x6 is perfect for any combat support roles. Patria NEMO is a turreted, lightweight and remote-controlled 120 mm mortar system with a high level of mobility, protection and accuracy. Patria NEMO is capable of both direct and indirect fire, even when the platform is moving.
Patria AMV XP 8x8 is an extremely modern, modular and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing superior fire power, protection and mobility. Patria AMV XP has fully digitalized vehicle data and control systems. At DSEI London Patria exhibits Patria AMV XP with the Rafael Samson 30 remote weapon system. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with Vegvisir camera system, Bittium SDR system and Savox wireless intercom.

It is an indirect fire support system, but due to its direct fire capability, it can also be used for self-defence against other vessels. Patria NEMO Navy can also fire Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI) fire missions where up to 6 grenades are hitting the target simultaneously.
