Patria starts employee co-operation negotiations in its Aerostructures business unit´s metal operations in Jämsä, Halli. Negotiations will be started due to productional and financial reasons and will affect all functions and personnel groups in the metal unit.

COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on commercial aviation. Due to this some production operations will reduce significantly or end completely. Therefore, current personnel compared to existing workload needs to be re-evaluated.

Negotiations may lead to redundancies of 25 persons. Additionally, alternative solutions shall be considered, e.g. full-time and part-time layoffs.

Aerostructures Business Unit designs and manufactures advanced aerospace structures. The metal unit employs 46 persons in Finland, in Halli and the composite unit 104 persons in Finland, in Jämsä and in Tampere.
